As we're getting this out in April, we must give honorable mentions to Wide Awake and Reality Unfolds Festival, which both gave it their all earlier in the year. They both made massive waves in the London underground scene, providing an eclectic mix of breakthrough artists in authentic and exciting community spaces.

TAKEDOWN FESTIVAL (4 - 5 April)

The festival’s undercard is equally stacked, with Lake Malice bringing their electrifying fusion of metal and electronic chaos, tech-metal bruisers Harbinger delivering bone-snapping riffs, and the ever-unpredictable Kid Bookie, who blurs the lines between rap, punk, and pure aggression.
