PHOTOGRAPHY
"I don't have any experience in photography. Can I still contribute?"
Yes! At Out Of Rage, we accept anyone of all abilities and skillsets. Our publication was created to give young people the experience to write about the music they love. Building up a portfolio is the easiest thing you can do to improve your work.
"I can't commit to taking on work every week. Can I still sign up?"
Yes! We understand that life can get very busy at times. At Out Of Rage, we have a policy of doing what we can because we love what we do.

Also, in most freelance photography positions you can choose how much writing you'd like to take on. We operate in a similar way.
"How do you choose what artists you cover?"
A lot of the time, we choose artists that we are passionate about.

We do also get a lot of press emails in our inbox, and this can help us set up work or aid us in choosing our what we cover.

We also love hearing what music you love to listen to, no genre or artist is off the table!
"What advice would you give to new photographers?"
Our top tips from Kayleigh our house photographer:

-Bring a camera with you and get used to holding it in your hands- you will never know when you need it!

-Check the camera policies beforehand, some DIY venues may let you bring in a camera without a pass.

-Talk to everybody. This is great for networking.
